What is your role within getsix®?
For the last seven years I have been the Office Manager at our Wrocław office, within this time I started our Quality Management (QM) programme, which has been ongoing now for six years. This means I have two important roles within the getsix® Group. Firstly, as the Office Manager I am responsible for the organisation of the office, translations and the right document circulation. Secondly, as QM I assume responsibility and authority, to ensure that these important processes (an essential part of our ‘Business Excellence Framework’), are established, implemented, maintained and of course involves continuance improvement.
What do you like most about working at getsix®?
getsix® is constantly expanding, using our ‘Business Excellence Framework’, the adopted visions are realised, which implies, that there is no feeling at getsix®, that we have stopped anywhere. The recent expansion of our email footer confirms this. At getsix® I appreciate the diversity of the tasks and topics that I have to perform, the international client service standards, but most of all I like fully understanding translations and my ISO accreditation work. Having ISO 9001:2008 provides getsix® clear internal processes linked to effective quality management, which of course in turn provides our clients with a first class service. Now with the exciting news that we have ISO 27001:2005 accreditation (the first in Poland), with the test also passed for ISO 27001:2013 (awaiting certification process to be completed),getsix® really does have the edge now when it comes to client information security. Providing peace of mind and trust that we really can do what we say. Happy all my hard work has further developed the Group, and looking forward of it being an integral part of my role.
Is there any recent existing, or potential customer feedback you would like to share with us?
One of the most important parts of our QM processes is measuring our client’s satisfaction. Every year we send out to over 200 clients our ‘Customer Satisfaction Survey’. Having done this for a few years now, I fully realise how important these results are to the getsix® Group. Our questions are not only closed, but also provide the opportunity for clients to give valuable feedback, which can shape our future together. It is good to hear from the clients we serve, that they appreciate the comprehensive services we provide in tandem with the back-up of our foreign language desks.
If you could be someone else for the day, who would it be? And why?
I’ve always wanted to write a book, which presents the mechanisms of the human psyche. Therefore, if I would have the possibility to be someone else for one day, I would be a writer from the morning till the late evening.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which 3 people would you like to share that island with and why?
To stay on a desert island is not the focus of my dreams, even if the island would be very nice. In order to function I need to communicate with people, because I really appreciate human relationships. But, if I would be on such an island with only three people, I would take with me my close family. Then, after that we would try to reach another island, thus not deserted island anymore…
