Foreign companies invest in Poland

The getsix® Group like to advise you of developments within the Polish economy, so we are pleased to advise you, that in the first half of 2015, investments from foreign companies within Poland continue to increase announced the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. If this trend continues through the second half of the year, then investments will by far exceed the latest peak for the year 2015. This announcement refers to a study by The Centre for Economy on 17th September, 2015.

“According to a report published by the Centre for Economic Information Poland is chosen by more and more foreign investors.

In the first half of 2015, 3292 companies with foreign capital were registered in Poland. If this trend continues until the end of the year, it will mean a 50% increase compared to the previous year, which was already a record.

More than 44% of foreign companies has chosen for its location Mazowieckie province, 13% – Małopolskie. Third place was taken by Dolnośląskie province (6.78% of foreign companies). The newly registered companies have their offices in 414 towns. The least popular regions are Świętokrzyskie and Warmia-Mazury (respectively approx. 0.4 and 0.5% of all registrations).

The total share capital of newly registered companies is nearly PLN 172 million. The average capital of the company was PLN 52 thousand. 20 companies have of a capital of more than PLN one million. (www.coig.com.pl)”
